Jointing Compounds for False Ceiling & Wall Floor Tiles

MYKOFILL

MYKOFILL is a white cement based jointing compound for jointing and finishing of the false ceilings and partitions made of gypsum/calcium silicate boards. Mykofill is available in powder form.

Storage

Gypstick has to be stored in a dry place. It has to be used within a period of 6 months to attain the best performance.

Usage
  • Mix water approximately 30% w/w of Gypstick.
  • Mix well to form a workable thick paste
  • Wet the surface of application using water for better surface properties.
  • Apply Gypstick paste on to the jointing stretch between the boards, fill the gap between the boards and level the jointing stretch.
  • Cut the fibre jointing tape to the required length. Place it on to the Gypstick already spread on the jointing stretch.
  • Apply and spread another layer of Gypstick paste on the tape placed on the jointing stretch. Spread the Gypstick towards both the sides of the joint reaching atleast 20 cm on both sides of the joint.

TILE ADH

TILE ADH is an adhesive compound used to stick the wall/floor tiles on to the suitable substrate.

  • Extensive soaking of the tiles is not necessary.
  • Better strength and flexibility.
  • Better workability.

Usage
  • Prepare the substrate on to which tile is to be fixed by getting it evenly level.
  • Wet the substrate using water.
  • Mix Tile Adh with fine sand and cement in the ratio of 1:1:1.
  • Pour water into the mix and create a thick paste suitable to work as an adhesive.
  • Lay, fix and level the tiles having the compound prepared as instructed above between the tiles and the substrate.
  • Do not disturb the tiles laid for the next 24 hours
